Merry Christmas and Happy 2014!

Happy 2014 everyone!  Here are some of the highlights of 2013 in the Klinginsmith household.

Naturally, the biggest highlight was the addition of Lincoln Samuel on February 1. Here are some of his newborn pictures.

Kiana has been home schooling for Kinder/1st grade and loves it. We took the training wheels off of her bike this summer and she (cautiously) enjoys the new freedom. She brings the majority of the drama to the house so we're excited for the teenage years.

Hunter is an active young man that has discovered the wonderful world of Matchbox cars and the glory of going shirtless.

[Hunter's favorite color is orange so he loved this hot rod at one of the car shows we attended this summer]

Lincoln is a happy baby and is crawling around and into everything! He is bigger than the other two kids were at his age. For instance, Hunter was able to run when he was wearing the clothes that are now Lincoln's hand-me-downs!

Ruth is very busy with the kids; and is still involved with the Music Conservatory of Sandpoint. This year the conservatory celebrated the milestone of becoming accredited! Ruth established a youth orchestra at MCS this year and with her colleges created a foreign student exchange program. The first foreign group to participate was the Rio Nuevo Youth Orchestra of Mexicali, Mexico who participated in the exchange with the MCS youth orchestra.

Jacob's work at Tamarack Aerospace group has included much more travel this year. In addition to several trips in the US, there were two trips to Europe including a stop in Venice, Italy and the country of Slovenia (bonus points if you know where Slovenia is!).   This fall Tamarack was excited to announce that Cessna will be the exclusive dealer for our winglets on the CitationJet line.

There were many special visitors this year, but the long distance award goes to Ruth's Tante (aunt) Mary and Oom (uncle) Hartmut visited us for several days this summer from their home in Bremen, Germany. Young and old enjoyed the summer Sandpoint weather since Ruth's sister Natalie was able to visit with her three kids; and Ruth's mother Lilian, father Steve, and brothers Steven and Micheal were all able to join us.

We have had another thrilling year and have been blessed! We praise God for giving us the love and support of our family and friends!

Happy New Year!!
